Interactive tool to educate about disease spread.
At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, public understanding of social distancing’s impact on virus spread was limited. I led the design of an interactive visualization tool that helped users see the real-time effects of reducing their social interactions.

Highlights
Public confusion on how social behavior influenced virus transmission, so we wanted to build a tool that would simplify epidemiological models for non-experts and show how modifying social behavior could reduce disease spread.
Similar tools were built by major institutions, leading us to drop the project as it was redundant.
